WHO IS DRILL?

DRILL Performance Company was founded and is run by Joshua Lowe and Cindy Foster, two young Tasmanian artists with a passion for creating and performing. DRILL works with many different young people within its projects, creating new contemporary works and providing more opportunities for people to express themselves through performance, while gaining experience. Our artists which include dancers, singers, actors, musicians, and designers as well as behind the scenes crew are always changing and growing, and we are always welcoming new people on board.

WHAT DOES DRILL DO?

You can never know what to expect from DRILL - we want to explore different artforms and work with a variety of artists such as those mentioned above. While primarily a contemporary dance company for youth, DRILL Performance Company aims to work on a many different projects, none of them limited to a certain style or format. This includes stage productions, street art and public performance, entertainment for events, workshops and classes and many other new and exciting ideas.

• Create new and original works of a high standard.

• Provide opportunities for young people to learn, grow, create and be inspired.
• Give people opportunities to gain experience in their chosen area of the performing arts.
• Showcase the talent of local atists to the community.
• Beautify public places and inspire everyday people.

• Work alongside and support local businesses and organisations.
