CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT - POSITIONS AVAILABLE

DRILL Performance Company is planning to undertake a two-week creative development period during which a new contemporary dance-theatre work will be created as a collaboration between young and emerging artists from both Launceston and Melbourne.

DRILL set a standard for developing its own unique brand of dance-theatre when it produced the highly successful work Fy in February 2010. Combining dance and dialogue with visually spectacular production elements and new technology, the company's new work entitled Grimra will be even more creatively ambitious and will build upon the successes of Fy.

We are in the process of assembling our creative and management teams for the development and are seeking expressions of interest for the following positions:

DRILL aims to engage emerging artists and designers and welcomes applications from professionals in their first years of practice. Applicants must be available for the creative development period in Melbourne in July 2011. Fees are to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
