CONNECT4 was DRILL's first ever primary school dance program, offering a 5-week in-school residency for four local schools.

Choreographer Joshua Lowe working with 70 students from Windermere Primary, Collinsvale Primary, Kempton Primary and Campania District Schools to learn about contemporary dance and create dance pieces around the theme of 'connection'.

The students performed their pieces together over three performances at Jordan River Learning Federation (Senior School) for their fellow students, friends, family and community members.

Students were connected with a 'buddy' from another school, who they were invited to write a letter to before meeting them on performance day. They also got to design their own DRILL shirts to use a costumes as then keep afterward as a momento. Students were mentored by DRILL senior company members, who also performed as guests.
